Operation Process

OPERATION PROCESS

Sourcing
- The process starts with sourcing raw hides and skins (H&S) from local slaughterhouses, primarily cattle, sheep, goat, and camel, depending on regional livestock availability.
Inspection & Sorting
- Upon arrival, H&S are inspected and sorted based on size and weight.
Cleaning & Soaking
- The hides undergo thorough cleaning to remove fat, flesh, and salts, prepping them for further stages. Cleaned hides are rehydrated in large drums for chemical treatment.
Liming & De-Liming
- Lime and chemicals are added to remove hair and open fibers for better chemical absorption in the next steps. Lime is neutralized, and the hides are balanced to a proper pH using acidic solutions.
Pickling & Enzyme Treatment
- Enzymes are applied to soften the hides and remove remaining hair roots.
Tanning
- Hides are tanned using vegetable or chrome-free tanning methods, with a focus on eco-conscious production.
Re-tanning
- Additional treatments enhance flexibility, durability, and color, customized per customer requirements.
Finishing
- Protective coatings are applied to improve durability, followed by embossing or design applications.
